The well-known Mozart Requiem will be partnered in this concert by a new work by CCS's conductor Ian Higginson, 'In Times of Trouble', which he describes as a Mass for Reconciliation. This includes a setting of words from the Koran, a setting of Psalm 121 'I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills', and a Blessing, in addition to the more usual Kyrie, Gloria, Sanctus, Benedictus, Agnus Dei and Dies Irae. The concert will be performed by a combined choir made up of:

Jubilate concert choir
St Edward's School Choir
University of Gloucestershire Choir
conducted by Ian Higginson, with an orchestral accompaniment.
